If the provision of personal data for this data processing is provided for by law, contractually required or necessary for the conclusion of a contract, the failure to provide the data may mean that the obligations to be fulfilled by the University of Vienna towards you cannot be met.
The data was collected from the Event Management of the University of Vienna personally.
The data collected about you will be forwarded to the following recipients outside the University of Vienna: The Hotel you booked your Room at.
The data willnot be transferred to a third country (EU or EEA country) or to an international organisation.
After the research objective has been achieved, these data should be deleted, at the latest after 6 months.
The Conference and Event Management service unit processes the data by means of a software by the company Centium Software, 60 Brandl Street, Eight Mile Plains, Queensland, Australia (processing agreement according to article 28 of the GDPR).
As a data subject, you have the following rights towards from the University of Vienna
- information,
- correction,
- deletion,
- restriction,
- data portability and
- termination of further processing if the legal basis of the processing is an overriding legitimate interest of the principal or the data are processed for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes.
Furthermore, you have the possibility to revoke a given consent for data processing at any time without giving reasons. Finally, you have the possibility to complain to the Austrian data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at) about data processing that you consider to be unlawful.
